Arafah

wukuf declared to be on the 19th., not on the 20th as previously publicly announced. anyway, less one day in ihram for us doing haji ifrad.

note from Utas:
before zuhr wait for announcement for transport. all not allowed to go to masjid for all solat, to facilitate smooth transportation of jamaah. maybe reach Arafah 2am. dinner may be served early.

1:00 ~ 4:00pm
zuhr, asr -
as instructed earlier, my roomates solat in our room. appointed Bakari (a JKR Jerantut QS) as imam.
rest, while waiting for bus to Arafah.

5:30 ~ 7:30pm
to Arafah -
talbiah all the way. Naza still not feeling well. i'm in tent A (male) Maktab 105.
it is cold and windy in Arafah.
the tents look good, with air conditioning (blower), and ample space for each of us. no complaints from me.
our tents in Arafah are basically carpeted sandboxes, with metal structures covered with canvas for walls and roof.
curiously, female toilets are facing male tents and vice versa. a few of us commented among ourselves: why not just swap the toilet signs (ar-rijal/an-nisaa), so that everyone would be better off. of course, nothing done for we were not bringing up the matter to the right person.

7:30pm
dinner -
lavish (at least for me).
daging, ayam, jelly, juice (packed), bottled h2o, apple/fruits.
met pak lang while queueing for dinner. he's in tent C.

8:30pm
maghreeb & isya' -
jama' ta'khir - ta'lik hanafi.

9:30pm
sleep
