have you seen the new jamrah?

the new wider jamrah.
stones from upper level funnel thru inside the wall.
no more incidents where hajjs are struck by stones from upper level.
more importantly, no more deaths from stampedes.
this photo is taken after isya around 9pm. not busy at all, one can easily get near the jamrah wall.
on the right, there's a man with hard hat and few more with a bobcat.
they are unloading + cleaning up the jamrah.
it's pretty amazing to see lots of stuff in there.
not only stones - shoes, slippers, mats, pouches.
