the beginning of a journey

1:30 ~ 3:30pm
lapor diri Kompleks Haji Kelana Jaya -
step out of Ayah's house in Taman Melati wearing ihram (a pair of white towelly sheets for male, white garments covering all except face and hands for female) to Kelana Jaya.
blackout in Kelana Jaya for awhile. kids are happy with ballons from tok ayah altho they're evidently mengantuk.
check in of bags & luggages at TH complex @ Kelana Jaya.
boarding pass issued. get into briefing hall with hand luggage & sling bag. puteri UMNOs hand out packs of vit C, energy drink & panadol + minyak kapak.
solat zuhr+asr+sunat musafir.
board bus (comfy!).

3:30 ~ 4:30pm
to KLIA by bus -
alhamdulillah. traffic police escort & assist journey. very smooth ALL the way.
non-stop door to door. buses (at least 10) took passengers straight to departure hall at KLIA via ground entrance.
a seamless operation, well done. in no time, everybody in departure hall.

5:30pm
departure hall KLIA, board plane -
boeing 747-400P. ALL stewardesses wear hijab & covered. a nice thing to see.
overall, things are quite ok.
naza is famished, tak sabar for the meals to be served. oh, and i have a small headache. lack of sleep last night, anxious perhaps, not enough fluid.

5.30pm M'sia
flight to Jeddah (KLIA). KT113 MAS - MH8124 -
we got meals served at 7.20pm m'sian time.
rice + sambal ikan + GM carrots + GM long beans. santan jelly with sago. grapes + honeydew. mineral water, soy bean drink (no OJ available), coffee. bun & butter.
all enjoyed at 34,000 ft above ground. Alhamdulillah!
Miqat at Qarnul Manazil.
flight duration 8 hours.

9.40pm Arab Saudi
arrive in Jeddah Airport -
have to wait in transit room for 2-3 hrs before further the journey to Makkah.
perform maghrib & isya' prayers (jama).
immigration & claim luggages.
rest at Jeddah airport while waiting for buses to Makkah.
